At times users might have to download the files on their local computer to view them. Some browsers may display certain file types directly into the browser window (example a PDF or image file). This behavior depends on the external user's browser settings.
•To download a document simply select the document in the file list and click on Download button in the top toolbar.
•To download multiple files at the same time use the check boxes against each file to select them and then click on the top Download button. Multiple files will archived into a single file and will be downloaded as one zip file with the name of its parent folder with a date and time stamp appended to the name.
•To download all files in a folder select the checkbox in the column header to automatically select all files in the folder and then click on the Download button.
•If a mix of files and folders are selected for multiple download, folders will be skipped and only files will be included in the download zip
•Depending on the external user's browser settings and preferences, downloaded files may open up directly in their browser window, the browser may prompt user to save or open the file being downloaded or the browser may directly save the file either in the default "Downloads" folder or any other folder set for direct file downloads.
