Exporting Documents from Docsvault

Docsvault allows you to export files, folders, or even entire cabinets to various storage locations. This makes it easy to share, back up, or work with documents outside of Docsvault while preserving their original folder structure.
Where You Can Export
You can export documents to:
•Your local hard drive
•A shared network folder/drive ( including removable drive - USB, external HDD, etc.)
•Another application via drag-and-drop
Export Methods
1.Export Using Right-Click Menu
•In Docsvault Explorer, select the files, folders, or cabinets you want to export from the List or Tree View panel.
•Right-click the selection, point to Export To, and choose one of the following:
oBrowse to select a new destination.
oA Most Recently Used location for quick exporting.
•Confirm the location. Your documents will be exported with their folder structure preserved.

2. Drag & Drop to a Local or Network Folder
•Simply drag files from Docsvault and drop them into a folder on your local computer or network drive.
3. Drag & Drop to Other Applications
•Users with the necessary permissions can drag files directly from Docsvault to other applications including Outlook and any browser-based upload app.
•This feature also allows exporting files from the Versions and Related Documents tabs in the bottom panel of the interface, offering more flexible file handling.
•To export the files or folder, you must have Export rights on documents being exported. For more information about user rights or permission, see Security Rights in server manual.

•Files larger than 100 MB cannot be dragged outside directly. For larger files, please use the right click > export method
•Docsvault will not export link files. (file with an extension .lnk).
•File Naming: If enabled in "Others" in Docsvault Server Managers, exported filenames can include the Document ID and Version Number.
