Sending Email

Docsvault allows users to email message, with an attachment, to internal Docsvault users, or to external users directly from a folder or Search result list.

 

To email a document from Docsvault, simply right click on the document and select Email To. The document is then attached to the email to be sent. You can send one or more documents to an email recipient by highlighting multiple documents.

 

You can send Email in Docsvault either by using Default Email Client or Docsvault Quick Email option. Docsvault also allows you to send any version of documents as attachment via Docsvault Quick Email.

Enabling 'Allow users to send email alerts and quick emails' under Client Side Alerts in Docsvault Server Manager will allow the user to quickly email any document as an attachment from right within Docsvault using the Quick Email feature without going through their default email program. For more information on configuration, refer Alerts in Server Manual.
