The Advanced Edit option allows you to check out a PDF document and edit it using the associated PDF editor. This ensures proper version control while making changes.
Editing a PDF Using Advanced Edit
•Select the document to be edited.
•Open PDF Advanced Edit: Use any one of the following methods:
oFrom the Toolbar, select PDF Options > Advanced Edit
oRight-Click the document and click Check Out
oFrom the File menu, select Check Out
•Document is Checked Out: Docsvault checks out the document to prevent other users from editing it simultaneously.
•Open in Editor: The document opens in:
oAssociated PDF editor (default), OR
oYou can choose another application from the list
•Save the Document: Save the file in the editor after editing.
•Check In the Document: Return to Docsvault and Check In the document to save changes as a new version.
•You can set Docsvault's inbuilt PDF editor as default editor by configuring it in Tool > Options/Check In/Out.
