Options to append or prepend file including page range selections.

New Full-Screen Previews

A new "Show in Fullscreen" button in the preview panel enables full-screen document previews in a separate window.

This makes it easier to examine documents contents in detail without needing to open them in separate applications.

New File Type Filtering

Users can now filter files by document type extensions directly from the file listing and search results.

Predefined options like PDF, Word, Excel, Emails, Text, Images, etc. automatically filter out documents of same type even if they have different extensions.
Example: Selecting Word filter will list files with doc, docx, rtf, odt, wpd, etc. files.

New Auto Date Grouping and Sorting

Items are now sorted by their modified date by default to display the latest files on the top.

Sorting on any date field will now group items by time intervals (Today, Yesterday, Last week, Last Month, Older, etc.)

Filing Template with Strict Structure
To maintain document consistency and organization, the Filing Template system has been upgraded with a strict structure:

Enforced Folder Structure: Filing Templates now follow a predefined, non-editable layout.

Restricted Modifications: Folders created using a Filing Template cannot be modified.

Index-Based Naming: Folder names can only be edited through assigned index values, preventing manual renaming.

Restricted Additions: New folders and files cannot be added outside the predefined Filing Template structure, ensuring consistent document organization.

Saved Search in Favorites

Saved Searches can now be added to the Favorites bar for quick executions.

Saved Search can be reordered or renamed from the ‘Others’ tab in the manage favorites window.

New Reports in Server Manager
Admins can now generate detailed reports based on cabinet, user, and profile options within the Docsvault Server Manager. This provides deeper insights into document usage and system activity.

New Document ID in Exported Filenames

“Document ID” and “Version Number” are now appended in filenames when exporting or attaching files to emails when the appropriate global settings in the Docsvault Server Manager is enabled.

New Home Button

A new Home button in the top toolbar lets you easily navigate back to the Documents Root from anywhere.

Enhancements

Customizable Bottom Panel: Users can collapse or pin the Bottom Panel to free up screen real estate for a better UI experience.

Quick Access to Created and Modified files: Users can now quickly access their Created & Modified files directly from their Favorites toolbar, eliminating extra navigation steps.

Export Rights for Read permission: Users with "Read" rights can email and export individual documents.

Folder Naming Flexibility: Periods (.) are now allowed in folder names.

Renamed "Recently Created New Versions" Node: The "New Versions" node under "Recent Documents" has been renamed to "Modified", making it more intuitive to track edited files.

File Overwrite Behavior: Overwritten files now appear in the "Modified" node instead of "Accessed". Done

Applying Document Security: A new confirmation prompt will now appear when changing document security on folders, reminding users to optionally apply changes to all subitems.

Check-in Overwriting Warning: To avoid unintentional loss of a document’s current version, a warning message will now be displayed in the check-in form when overwriting a document.

Version Deletion Warning: When selecting "Overwriting" during check-in, a warning appears about the current version being deleted and moved to the Recycle Bin.

Check-Out Dialog Update: The "Check Out" dialog box no longer appears by default but can be re-enabled from Tools > Options.

Improved Log Readability: Enhanced log layout for better readability.
