Here are the default locations of various log files that the application generates on the Server, Desktop Client and the Web side:

Docsvault Server:

List of log files found on the machine where Docsvault Server is installed. The default location is C:\ProgramData\Docsvault or simply type

%programdata%\Docsvault in Windows explorer.

•Docsvault Server

oLog File: C:\ProgramData\Docsvault\DVServer_Log.log

•OCR Log

oLog File: C:\ProgramData\Docsvault\DVOCR_Log.log

•Email Capture Log

oLog File: C:\ProgramData\Docsvault\DVEmail_Log.log

•Import Job Log

oLog File: C:\ProgramData\Docsvault\ImportJobs_Log.log

•Update Log

oLog File: C:\ProgramData\Docsvault\Update_Log.log

Note: Docsvault automatically creates a new log file when the log file size reaches 5MB in size. The existing log will be renamed with
<log filename>-OLD tag and any current old logs will be purged automatically.

Docsvault Desktop Client

•Docsvault Client

oLog File: C:\Users\''username''\AppData\Roaming\Docsvault\DVClient_Log.log or
simply type %appdata%\Docsvault in the Windows explorer on the machine where Docsvault Client is installed

Docsvault Web Client

List of log & config files found on the machine where Docsvault Web Server is installed.

oLog File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Docsvault Web\Log\DVWeb_Log.log

oConfig File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Docsvault Web\Web.config
