New Features

Docsvault Profiles

•Extended the auto-filing and auto-naming functionality of profiles application wide

•Editing profiles and index values from the right profile panel, properties dialog, filing area, scan interface will now trigger corresponding file name or location change if configured

•Auto-file profiles are now visible and can be selected as default for any folder in the available profiles settings

•Auto-file profiles can also be specified in predefined ‘Folder Templates’ and ‘Profile Templates’

Digital Signature*: Document Signature Requests:

•A completely redesigned flow for third party Signature Requests from non Docsvault users

•Signature requests can now be initiated from both Desktop and Web interfaces (previously only available in desktop client)

•The new interface now allows placement of signature, initials, date and notes placeholders on documents to guide signers through a simple and intuitive signing experience in their Desktop or Android device web browsers

•Signers can now follow simple steps to complete signing documents by simply clicking on signature or initials placeholder fields

•Signers now have an option to sign documents with or without a date stamp. They can configure this setting in their 'Manage Signature' interface.

API Add-on*: Extended API functionality by adding new API calls for:

•Creating and updating concurrent users

•Adding and removing users to any user group

•Applying and updating user and group securities for any file or folder

•Creating new folders using predefined Folder Templates

Lists: Sorting by 'Flag' in column enabled in file list panel

Search Results: You will now be able to flag documents in the Search result listings

Advanced Import Add-on*: Improved Advanced Import speed and resiliency

eForms Add-on*:

•Document Creation: You can now map dynamic form fields in header and footer of a template document

•Added proper browser tab title so users can see the form name in the browser tab

Workflow:

•Added option to "include workflow details" under 'Additional Notification' section in workflow transition form when designing a workflow in Web application

•The workflow tasks list now keeps the current selection position after any action is performed on a workflow task under the 'My Workflow' node

Changes:

•File Copy Behavior: A new copy of a file will not retain previous versions of the source file but will only copy the latest version of the source file. In case a file with same name already exists in the destination folder, it will not merge versions of the source and destination files but will only create one new version with the latest version of the source file.

•The default user Checkout location path has been changed to "%userprofile%\documents" from %mydocuments%

API Add-ons*

•API Functions: Change in the call name: Call names changed from GetFileAvailableProfiles to GetAvailableProfiles and GetFolderAvailableProfiles to GetAvailableProfiles

•Added SearchPhrase parameter in Search Functions:

0 – Exact Phrase

1 – Any word

•Workflow list - change in the parameter value for getting Workflow task lists:

0 - to get ‘My Workflow’ tasks listing

1 - to get ‘Participated By Me’ tasks listing

2 - to get ‘Managing/Watching’ tasks listing
