Handling Deletions

Preventing Documents from Archiving or Deletion

Organizations may opt to preserve critical digital documents from being archived or deleted to comply with legal hold requirements or operational needs.

Locate the document you want to keep on hold.

Right-click on the selected document.

Point to Document Status and choose Archive Policy Hold from the context menu.

Once the "Archive Policy Hold" status is applied, the document will be excluded from any automatic archiving or deletion processes based on the defined policies.

Restoring Archived Documents

When documents are archived, they are moved to the archive section, maintaining their original cabinet-folder organization.

Restoration Process

Administrators can restore archived documents by moving them from the "Archive" cabinet back to the "Documents" section.

Soft Delete Recovery:

Documents deleted with the "Delete to Recycle Bin" policy can be restored from the recycle bin by administrators.

Permanent Deletion:

Documents deleted with the "Delete Permanently" policy are permanently removed from the system and cannot be recovered.
