What problems were you having? Managing files. When receiving a call, looking all over the office for a document in a file. Very time consuming, inefficient and produced poor customer service. Has Docsvault helped you solve these problems? How/Why? Docsvault has changed our office dramatically. No longer are we running around trying to find a piece of paper in a six inch file which could be anywhere in multiple offices. When a client calls, I am able to talk to them immediately and knowingly about what is going on in their case. The clients are happier and so am I. What do you really like about Docsvault: The simplicity and familiarity of the interface. It just makes sense. Uses a logical setup for the files, folders and cabinets. What would you tell another company who was considering using Docsvault? Do it, immediately. The product is excellent, stable and it works and is implemented easily. Just buy some scanners. What problems were you having? Constantly could not find files that may be in use by others, or misplaced. It was hard to keep track of who did what, and our office was getting more and more cluttered with ugly file cabinets filled to the brim. Has Docsvault helped you solve these problems? How/Why? Yes, the audit system is great. Now we can all find files and open files on multiple computers at the same time. Also we have started to decrease the amount of files. What do you really like about Docsvault: I love how customizable Docsvault is. Now I can store multiple phone numbers, emails and other features easily. Also it is easy to make changes. What would you tell another company who was considering using Docsvault? I would tell them that it is a worth investment. I was offered alternatives but at about 4000$+. I bought Docsvault for $1000. Though i had to do more customizations, I believe that is the best for shaping the program to our needs. Other companies will not give you as much flexibility! What does your company do? I use Docsvault for financial records, home inventory scan receipts,... and the list keeps growing. What problems were you having? My problems before aquiring Docsvault was trying to figure out a way to keep track of all the scanned paperwork I had. I wanted to take my home finances to the next level but one of the biggest drawbacks was lack of organization of files. Windows is pitiful even with just putting files in a directory structure. I had read about MS Share Point for businesses and decided there had to be something akin to that for home use, home office or just organizing. Has Docsvault helped you solve these problems? How/Why? Docsvault helped me organize my electronic life with the PDF software and the electronic file cabinet structure. Since installing it, I've re-organized how I store hard copies in my file cabinet and structured the Docsvault directories to match. It's very flexible, and I have changed my organizing style several times as I try one thing...don't like it...then shuffle the file structure. The biggest boon to me is the pdf interface. I keep finding more and more things to scan in and use Docsvault as my primary organizational base. What do you really like about Docsvault: The flexibility in the file structure and the pdf scanning/editing functionality!! The price range is good and the capabilities of the software are more than any of the open source competition I checked out when first looking for a document management program.. What would you tell another company who was considering using Docsvault? Just Buy It! As you use it, you will think of better ways to organize your structure. It's easy to move the files around. Has Docsvault helped you solve these problems? How/Why? I use your product to record many documents that I have collected over the last several decades and still receive on a daily basis. It is purely used for pleasure not work - I have had to retire through ill health and I looked at several possible solutions to record all those documents but Docsvault looked the easiest and cost effective to use and this has been borne out in practice. If one can ever say they enjoying using a computer then Docsvault is one of those programs that makes it possible. It's just simple and straightforward to use right out of the box.
