Re-OCR/ Force OCR PDF File

 
You can use Docsvault to recognize text in the existing PDF file or previously scanned documents that have already been converted to PDF.

Select the PDF file.

Right click and select Properties.

Select the checkbox next to Re-OCR and click on Apply button.

 
This will mark the file for OCR and OCR process will take place on the Server machine. As per the schedule time set by the Administrator in Docsvault Server Manager, the OCR process will take place and a new version will be created for that PDF file.

 
Administrator can monitor the process from OCR node in Docsvault Server Manager and the user will be able to see the update status of OCR from File Properties dialog box in Docsvault Client . For more information, see OCR Status.
