Reading a PDF File

 

Docsvault PDF Editor provides you several tools, as well as menu commands that makes reading, navigating and using PDF document much easier.

 

Pages can be resized to make them easier to see, and you can jump directly to a page number, step through a document page by page, or scroll the pages as you read them.

 

Viewing the document using the Select tool

The Hand tool allows you to view the document in the read mode. When you select the Hand tool and then click on the page, you will notice pan tool. The Pan Tool will move your document in the screen allowing you to scroll your document.

Navigating Using Status bar

The Navigation tools are located in the View as well as in Status toolbar to quickly move about PDF pages and documents.

 

 


Navigation Toolbar

 

First Page

Returns to the start of the document.

Previous Page

Moves back one page.

Page n of n

Displays which page in the document you are currently

Next page

Moves forward one page.

Last page

Goes to the end of the document.

Single Page Layout

Single-page treats the document as though it were a series of pages you move through.

Continuous Page Layout

Continuous  work like the document is one large page that you scroll through.

To go to a specific page,  press Shift + Ctrl + N or select View/Go To/Page... Enter the number of the page in the Go To Page.. box.

 

Resizing pages

The toolbar provides several methods for magnifying the view of PDF documents. These tools are included in View toolbar of  Docsvault PDF Editor.

Zoom In

The Zoom in tool allows you to enlarge the whole view. To restore the view to its original size, use the Zoom out or Fit to View buttons.

Zoom Out

The Zoom out tool allows you to reduce the whole view. To restore the view to its original size, use the Zoom in or Fit to View buttons

Fit Width

The entire page would be resized to fit the width of the window. To restore the view to its original size, use the Zoom In or Actual size button.

Actual Size

This tool lets you displays the page at its real size. The entire page would be displays at 100% magnification.

Fit Window

This tool lets you displays one whole page in the document panel, and its scale proportion is according to the application window .

 
 

Rotate Page View

You can quickly rotate the pages of a document directly from the View toolbar. Rotation is in 90° increments.

To rotate a single page at a time:

In the toolbar, click the Rotate Right tool  or the Rotate Left tool

 

To rotate all pages at a time:

In the toolbar, click the down arrow next to Rotate Right tool or the Rotate Left tool and select 'All Pages'.
