Scheduled Automatic Backup

It may so happen that under work pressure at home and office you may forget to take a manual backup for a long time. If you are a forgetful creature, then that's normal. Just opt for scheduled automatic backup, and relieve yourself from remembering this task.

To schedule an automatic back up at a specified period of time:

Steps 1 and  2 are same as in topic Instant Backup on Local/Network Drive

3a. In step 3 when you get the following window

Click on Select Automatic Backup option

3b. Select one of the "repetition period" of operation viz. daily, weekly, monthly or once from the drop down list

-If you select daily then you need to select the time of action

-if you select weekly option then you must select the days of the week also

-if you select monthly option then you must select the day of the month

- if you select once option then you must select a day for the action to take place from the drop down calender. Click on Today in the calender to backup today.

5. On entering the password configuration of backup scheduler will take place and give you a message "Backup schedule successful" on success

Note:

Scheduled Automatic Backup is not applicable to removable ( Floppy disk, CD, DVD etc.) storage devices
