This Preferences panel offers you some of the most important functionalities of Safevault like creating a "master password recovery disk", changing the master password, as well as recovering it back.
| • | By default, you don't have to re-log on when you switch back to Safevault from other cabinets. You can change this setting for better security by de-selecting the check box. Now once you leave Safevault, you cannot re-enter it without logging in |
| • | If you want to create a password recovery disk click on Create Disk button |
Note:
If you are not logged on to Safevault, clicking this button will first prompt you for master password
| • | You can change the master password by clicking on Change button |
Recover the master password if you do not remember it by clicking on Forgot Master Password
