Adding Task |

To add a new task in the task manager window follow these steps:
| • | From the menu click on Task >> New Task |
OR
| • | Click on the new task image icon |
OR
| • | On an empty row of task list, right click and from the popped up menu click New Task |
OR
| • | On the desktop task panel right click to bring up the popup menu, and click on New Task |
Following dialog window appears:

Each item on the New Task window is discussed below:
| 1. | Title: |
Enter a short description of the task to be performed in the text box
2. Due Date:
From the drop down list select the date by which the task is to be performed
3. Priority:
If the task is of high priority then select High, otherwise Normal. A high priority task has an exclamatory sign prefixed to the task topic on the task manager window
4. Reminder:
This option is for popping up a "Task Reminder message" on specified date and time. Even if you don't review the task daily, reminder will alarm you on the selected date and time. A sample of Task Reminder "message window" is shown below:
Note: A task with reminder has a bell icon prefixed to its title

5. Repeat Task:
If the task is of repetitive type then you can check this option and select a recurrence period like weekly or monthly
6. Save
Click on this button to save the task
