Service

The Service tab covers following operations:

Server

Displays the host name of the local machine. This name is used to connect the Docsvault clients for the first time to this server.

Start

Click on 'Start' to start the Docsvault service on the network.

Stop

Click on 'Stop' to disconnect the service on the network.

Restart

Click on 'Restart to restart the Docsvault services on the network

Warning:

•	Stopping or Restarting the service will disrupt all clients currently connected to the server.

Check server status every ___ secs.

Sets the interval to monitor the status of the services.

If service fails, attempt to restart it ___ times before giving up.

If the service is somehow stopped, an attempt will be made to restart the service for above specified times. If however for any reason the service cannot be restarted, the icon in the system tray will change to reflect the stopped status.

Information:

•	Logging out of or closing the Server Manager does not stop the Docsvault services to the clients.

General

To start the Docsvault automatically at the time of starting Windows, click the check box next to 'Start Docsvault Server to startup'.
