Rename a File

 

For example:

Neil wants to rename the file named 'Purch1012.doc' to 'Purch_12Oct.doc'.  He can edit this by selecting Rename from Edit menu.

 

•Select file from the Tree view panel to rename.
•On the Edit menu, click on Rename        Or

   Right click the mouse button, click Rename.        Or

 

   Press F2

 

•Type the new name, and press ENTER.

Note:

•A file name can contain up to 255 characters, including spaces.
