Select the Repository tab in Docsvault Server Manager dialog box.

Backup on Local/Network location

The name of the backup file is in a combination of the term "Docsvault Backup" and current date and time.

Ex. Docsvault Backup 04-Jan-2007 17.49. You can change the name but it is recommended that you accept the

names and structures provided by Docsvault.

Select the backup location on local or network drive by clicking on the Browse button.
Now click on Start button to start the backup process.
Once the backup is completed, a dialog box will appear confirming the completion of a successful backup.
Click on Close button to close the wizard dialog box.

Note:

Full backup: Will take backup of all files in the repository till date. You normally perform 'Full backup' the first time you create a backup set. Docsvault will automatically display the backup location and the latest backup filename.

Incremental Backup: Copies only those files created or changed from the last 'Full or Incremental backup'. You have to select the file named 'DVbackconf.dvf' from the full backup folder. Its a good idea to maintain a consistent location for manual backups to increment files to the correct backup set.
